Changes to the planned UKCA regulations have now been revised. The key aspect is that as long as a pyrotechnic article (fireworks and T or P pyrotechnics) can now carry both a UKCA and CE mark as long as they have went through the normal CE process. This change by UKGov is welcome for UK based importers. There are some conditions, the main one being that to carry the UKCA mark, you must be a business based in the UK.
